I don't just drive to stores to get a gallon of milk. I often have a long list of what I want and try to get them all in one drive.

And please don't tell me Walgreens stores are limited and hard to find. Then you must live somewhere along the Arctic circle.

Does Costco still sell these, but shelled and at a cheaper price? Not saying to purchase them from Costco, just curious as to their price per pound for the shelled bags compared to this deal.

They grow pistachios here in New Mexico as well, but they aren't any cheaper than what you can get at Walmart for pistachios made in California...bastards here...

In response to the folks getting their panties in a bunch over bugs. Bugs are probably not that bad compared to an "allowable" amount of rat poo and pesticides. Bugs still alive after a few weeks in the distribution chain?? At least you know the nuts are not drenched in poison. Been eating pistachios for 40 years - never one bug. Best brand I ever had was Germack in Detroit - back when their bags were subtitled "The pride of Iran". yes, it was a long, long time ago. Before the hostage crisis. We could go to their factory downtown and get them warm out of the roaster. Wonderful are typical mass market quality, but nothing extraordinary.

I can't find the red pistachios. Only those newfangled white ones. Yes I'm old!

So I got my pistachios yesterday and sure enough found a worm (actually my daughter did) I though maybe it was a fluke but nope found a couple more. Contacted amazon and they refunded my money.
