DSTwo, Acekard 2i, R4i Gold all work, but there are no flash cards that play 3DS games. Just DS/DSi as Bushwick2002 said. Nintendo blocks flashcarts in their system updates, so the firmware on the carts has to be updated regularly.

Maybe I shouldn't have said difficult. Just harder. Just remember feeling hard to land on certain blocks. I played some more New Super Mario Bros. 2 today and the 3D effect still did not bother me on the XL. So far really liking it.

These would make great gifts for X-mas but I am hoping for a better price on these during BF. Still a good price for their standard weekend sale.

1 hour extra battery life doesn't really cut it for me. The screens look nice, but Nintendo went with pretty crappy specs to begin with, making the 3DS XL's screens look really pixelated when playing 3DS games, and really blurry and washed out when playing original DS games due to some filter. They should give us options to turn things off like Sony did with Vita. $200 is too much for this system when the only good games on it are 5 hour long Mario titles. An original Zelda, 6th generation Pokemon in full 3D (or Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire remakes), and real third party titles like Call of Duty or Assassin's Creed could really push this system, but we're not seeing any of those anytime soon.

Same here. Trading my son's original 3ds tonight at Gamestop for the $100 store credit and will get the 3DS XL from them instead.

Though $179 is a good deal on a handheld that just came out.

LOL. No. Purposely leaving out Mario and remakes, you have some great games for a system that only came out a year and half ago:

Kid Icarus, Dead or Alive, Kingdom Hearts, Rhythm Thief, Professor Layton, Resident Evil, Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, Theatrhythm, Colors 3D, Pushmo

And Call of Duty, "a real third party title"? Whatever floats your boat.

RE was a spinoff, and Rhythm Thief/Theatrhthym, Colors 3D, and Pushmo are kiddie titles. As for the others, we're in the free to play era now, meaning you have two options: release a casual hit game for 99 cents, or a console length game that pushes the system to its max for retail. All I see from the aforementioned are $40 games that deliver a few hours of content. No thank you.

Have you even PLAYED any of the titles? All of them are more than a few hours of content. I love when people keep changing the requirements. You started out saying,"oh, there's no good 3DS games except Mario." Then, after showing you great games, you make another excuse.

Kiddie titles? What are you, 12? All those titles have gotten great reviews You can say Pixar titles are kiddie, but they are still some of the best movies (up until Toy Story 3), cartoon or otherwise. Yes, Call of Duty is soooo hardcore! All the little kids playing it definitely prove that! Why the frack does it matter if a game is a spin-off? And you don't have to pay 40 dollars, we're on "SlickDeals." Apparently you haven't mastered the technique of finding good deals?

Go back to playing your hardcore Call of Duty and Madden with your bros. Oh, and if 200 dollars is too much for you, there is a deal for the system at 179.99; it's on the thread you are actually posting on right now. There's also the cheaper original.

$179.99 is almost the same price as the original 3DS. I'd say that is a good deal. I am happy with my launch 3ds but I'm sure there are some minor, hidden upgraded within the system to help with performance and battery life. Battery life is the only thing I dislike about the original 3DS. :-/
