Reward Chart
Total Purchase Amount → Reward
$400.00 - $500.00 → $75.00

---------------------------------------------------

1 - Dell allows three total forms of payment for an order (ie. promo card, promo card, paid card are three forms of payment)
2 - Non-promotional gift cards, aka paid cards, can be consolidated ($400+$400+$400 = 1x $1200card)
3 - Promotional cards cannot be consolidated ($50x3 = 3 separate cards) but they can be stacked (see Example 2 below)
4 - If you have a balance, your credit card counts as form of payment
5 - You can use multiple gift cards by calling in (the website limits you to one)
6 - The cards can be used at Dell Home, Dell Small Business, and Dell Outlet but not Dell Financial Services

Example 1:
Item's price ~$1325
Buy 3x $400 paid cards, get 3x $75 promo cards
The 3x $400 paid card can be consolidated into one $1200 paid card
Total Payment:
$1200 paid card
$75 promo card
$50 left over for credit card (plus tax and ship or whatnot)
*Can only use one promo card here because the residual balance will be more than the other promo card can cover and the credit card must be used to cover the rest.

Example 2:
Item's price ~$800
Buy 2x $400 paid cards, get 2x $75 promo cards
The 2x $400 paid cards can be consolidated into one $800 paid card
Total Payment:
$75 promo card
$75 promo card
$650 (plus tax and ship or whatnot) on consolidated paid card. Have $150 balance (less tax and ship) on paid card.
*Can use both promo cards here because the residual balance is a credit

Totally agree, but when they do have deals then these promos work out pretty well. I know some people were waiting for this deal to come back so they could prep for Black Friday TV deals and such from Dell.

I really can't rag on Dell to much though. I just bought a AlienWare M17x R4 from them. Its so pretty >.<!

I just used the $50 promo GC I got from the macfee deal to get a physical GC with no expiration date with free 2nd day air shipping. The card came with a nice metal blue dell jewel (?) box. Looks pretty.

I did the same Mirai. Here's a tip if you plan to order a physical GC with the promo credit: Don't do next business day shipping. I ordered a couple of physical gift cards back to back with the promo GC. They offer free shipping for gift card's so I chose next day shipping for my last card. It never got shipped because it was not processed. They caught on that it was a promo GC purchasing another GC. When I placed the order for regular 7 day shipping, the shipping status updated to shipping within the hour. Just from my experience for you guys Wink. Just the draw of the luck . The blue tins are pretty nice. I use them as coasters lol.

you could possibly buy one of these and sell the gift cards on ebay and make some profit. ebay fees would eat a good bit up but could work..just looking at complete auctions.
