that's a good deal. the case is a little clumsy to deal with IMO, but it's a nice set.

That's a good deal. I've been wanting a set of bits with the hex base so that I can sometimes swap between a driver bit and the drill bit with out having to use the chuck tool every swap..

picked this up a few years ago in a similar deal, very pleased with it. It is a good product for the basic home user like myself, although the case sucks.

Bought this a couple months ago on a similar deal. Very nice set for the price. It's very simple to drill a small hole for a screw and then screw in the screw without chucking the bit. I just bought a house, and I've been using it a lot for installing curtain rods, bathroom hardware, etc.
Edit: I'm not sure if the description or picture show this, but the bits are locked into place in the case. They won't come out until you raise them to be perpendicular to the case. This means that the bits won't fall out of their spots while the case is closed, which is a nice touch. Last edited by kalrith; 09-07-2012 at 01:07 PM.. |

Underneath the set is a drill marked down to 49.99 but when I click on it price goes up to 79.99. Any ideas. Also if you spend over 50$ use SEARS2012 for 5$ off.

Does anyone that already owns this set know if the magnetic bit holder has the sleeve guide on it. The set is similar to one I use to buy from sears except the case was different and the magnetic bit holder had a sleeve on it for driving long screws.
