What are some good dividend stocks for long term.

But thats with all taxes. With things how they are now, its only a matter of time before someone sneaks in the higher taxes.

This is why i went in the direction of ROTH IRA but part of me thinks they will somehow TAX that too.

My commodity and gold/silver stocks are loving it....

I am a holder of the last ETF. I started a small position (~1.5k) around Xmas last year. Since then, I've elected to DCA into total market funds to mitigate my risk and forgo a 1% improvement in yield.

I've heard WWE is a good stock if you are looking for dividends, they usually pay .12 a quart and $8-10. What I read says the McMann family has a ton of stock so as long as they do and have control big dividends will be paid out.

Google is a good growth/tech stock. Facebook is toxic and essentially IPO'ed at a ridiculous valuation and is probably not anywhere close to bottoming yet.

I do think it's overvalued, but nowhere near the word toxic.

i've been on the sidelines in managing my current 401k, i have like 15-20k doing nothing in a bond fund and moneymarket for 2 months.... thinking the market would tank but it hasnt really. i have another 50k in this current 401k invested in several funds within the plan, was looking for my entry point with this 'idle' cash and boy had i moved this idle cash into some investments prior to last week, i could have been ahead like everyone has been quite automatically.

when's the 'crash'? i felt let it was gonna happen hence i did what i did but i missed out on last week's explosion in the market upward.

it's like poker, the hand strength changes, pocket aces sucks when the board flop 3 suited card. Play with what you got.

Tell that to the mom and pop novices that bought in at the IPO lol. Facebook hasn't figured out how to monetize mobile effectively and their growth rate was decelerating at the time of the IPO. They have yet to produce a strategy that indicates they'll solve this issue anytime soon.

Now if you want to split hairs, FB isn't as toxic as GRPN or ZNGA, I'll give you that.
