I submitted the form a day or two ago and got my confirmation today. I still haven't restored my phone since it's jailbroken, but I thought I'd get this out of the way to make it more valuable on eBay to pay for my iPhone 5! :-D

No......you have to leave it active long enough before the picture changes. T-mobile doesn't sweep for the IMEI codes 24/7, I'm pretty sure it's done at set intervals. I have 2 international phones that I've been using since day 1 and it has never been recognized. |

Way OLD NEWS!! This method has been posted on Youtube and every Iphone/mac related site forever.You can get this to work even if you don't have a past or current ATT acount for iphone or whatever u want

For those in contract with AT&T and want there phone unlocked try getting it swapped by Apple Genius and they will unlock the phone for you through AT&T. Got mines unlocked in 2 days or so after swapping my phone.

yes u can, it just allows the phone to be used on t-mobile or international carriers |

They were shown as unknown devices when I used them on AT&T. Could be that the system changed since I used them or the phone that you used were somehow still associated with t-mobile? |

Why are you guys buying unlocks on eBay?? Call an ATT rep or chat with a rep online and they'll do it for free!! There is literally no hassle, they just make sure you meet the requirements and move forward with the unlock. It took 24 hours before mine finally read unlocked on a reset and then I was all set.
