Why are the rubber hoses twice the price of the never-kink ones? You can get two 75' never-kink hoses on a SD for the same price as a 100' rubber one on a SD. Why the diffs?

The never kink hoses are terrible hoses. The rubber ones are on a God level.

Bought this hose the last time they had this deal and I've been very happy with it. I keep it on a metal hose reel connected to my house and it's given me no kinks and super easy to real in.
The first week I got some black spots on my hands from the hose but since then no issues.

Wow, I can't believe the TD's for "Not a good product". This is one of the best made hoses available.

Thanks OP, TU. BTW - be sure to buy online before going to the store. I didn't and had to fight for the $36 price. The manager gave it to me since their in-store computer where you can look up prices didn't show "Savings applied in cart" next to the "$35.98" price. It originally rang up as the full $60 price at first and I had to show the cashier the site just to get to $40. He said I couldn't get to the $36 price unless I bought it online, which may have meant going back tomorrow since "the online sales can sometimes take an hour to get to the store." I was willing to take $40 so I wouldn't have to drive back again but luckily the manager helped out when she came to approve the $60 to $40 change.

On a side note - this 100 footer has a female connector on one end and a male on the other, like normal, but my 50' version of the same hose has female on both ends so I had to buy a male to male adapter for my old nozzle. I wasted time swinging by Home Depot to get another male to male adapter for this one since I was right next door before heading over to Sears. Why the difference in design between the two lengths, or did I get a mis-manufactured 50'?

i scouted some Garage Sales today. I had 50' one order from 2-3 days ago from sears. Got one for free today on Garage Sale. And got a reel for a buck !!! SD Rocks but GS kick butt
