I had the same; so I called in and spoke with a rep about the promos not showing. He spoke with his supervisor to make sure that Black Ops 2 was (A) eligible for the promo (this was the next day, on the 9th, while it still showed online), and that (B) it was one per game per person, not one promo offer total per person. He then cancelled my order of the 8th, placed a new one on the 9th for me, and manually added the $10 gift card and the 1600 points card, and manually reduced the dollar amount to $59.99; problem solved.
Till....I got my email receipt, nothing but black ops 2 for $59.99, same on the order history page; no bonus items shown at all. I have waited for anything to change, and finally made a call today to ask why no promo items show, STILL, after all of the personal phone involvement and verbal assurances; they do not see it as valid for the promo right now (duh), can't look back (they say) to verify that it did indeed have the promo shown on Black Ops 2 on the 8th and 9th; in short, no promos will be coming, for my order at least; they said "if it doesn't show in your receipt or purchase history, it won't be coming". SO; does anyone actually show the promo items from the 8th or 9th? Anyone capture a screen shot of the offer on Black Ops 2 when it was still up? Darned if I'm at all interested in buying the game at full retail from the Microsoft store with no promotions at all; might as well stick with my newegg orders in that case and cancel this one. Anybody want to chime in on their own purchase history; does it show the promo items, or just the game itself like mine and maxrogers? My Resident Evil and Borderlands 2 went through fine, just not this one.
Call in again. I did and they added it properly for me.
Thanks for that; two chat sessions and a call, and emails from an escalation supervisor, still did not get me the promos. Now I just placed a new order that correctly shows them. So comparatively easy; now I'll just cancel the problem order from the 9th. Microsoft customer service is the worst I have dealt with online; bar none. One of my chat sessions was so darn rude, that i actually got a call the next day with an apology from his supervisor who saw it. No promos, mind you; just an apology for how sarcastic and rude the last chat guy was, and a promise to "look into it"; and a subsequent email "we do not show that promo as being active for Black Ops 2 at this time, blah blah blah". You posting the option to place a whole new one simplified everything! Glad to finally have the deal on bo2, and not to have any more dealing with their service reps.
Figured. Glad I didn't pre-order this. I really like the Nuketown map.
What? Lol... It definitely came with Nuketown 2025 + 48 XBL trial. Not to mention, they accidentally sent my game with next day shipping. I used the $10 voucher on a 3-month XBL subscription when it was $9.99 on BF. Now, my points are pending. Has anyone received their MS points? They gave me the code, I entered and "purchased" them, but it still says pending.
I got my 1600 pts without a problem, but some people have reported their orders being stuck as "pending" so they're still waiting for them -- you just have to keep contacting cust service and hope MS fixes the glitch or figures out a way to process those stuck orders
