Yeah im wasting tons of use in other keys but i like how the arrow keys are by themselves instead of being packed in with other keys like WASD. Makes them easier to locate blindly and reduces my chances of pressing the wrong key before having to re-orient myself.

As for the mouse thing, I dont understand what you mean. I use my left hand to move and my right hand is on the mouse. I never take my hand off the mouse or the keyboard.

I thought you used the pad with your right hand

Oh, i thought that guy meant he remapped some of the num pad keys for other uses, not that he uses it for aiming. I typically bind lower use keys to Num0 and Num1, with Jump typically reserved for Right Shift, Crouch for Ctrl, Reload is SpaceBar, Inventory is Tab or Alt, and the rest is done with the keys on my mouse (8 in total, plus weapon switching with the mouse wheel.)

EDIT: I dont play MMOs so that could be why I still play most of my PC games with my FPS-style arrow keys. For RTS games, I dont use WASD or arrow keys at all and use the num pad for unit commands and remap a couple others for hot keys.

once end game is out, we will beat it and then destory the server. we will sell our offense and invest in all defense and park them at the end game points. those that stick around after end game will be pvp'ing and just dominating everyone else.

just to make you jelly, our POI bonus is 5.4m res per hour. with my 15 bases that means i pull in almost 2 billion tib and crystal each day. I also have about 20billion unspent crystal. I've been investing in all power in my main bases. i'm hoping to get my power production to snowball. right now upgrades take 4 days to pay forthemselves. with poi bonus i pull about 10m power an hour in my main and i still can't spend the resources.

but that way you're still removing your hand off of the arrow keys to reload?
i assume you're using 2,3,4 fingers on the arrow key.

for myself with FPS i bind reload to mouse scroll, crouch is default as is prone and jump.

I basically just use middle mouse button for reload, mouse scroll to cycle weaps, and back button is grenade.
Forward button is Vent/mumble push to talk.

For MMOs, i just have everything mapped for my naga, i can actually in theory play an MMO with just my mouse and no keyboards lol

Depending on the game, reload is on rare occasion mapped to one of the mouse keys (for online MP FPS like BF it was), but for single player games like Deus Ex, its still space bar. I can still reach it with my pinky though, while holding the Up arrow if Im running forward. I use the mx518 so i just remap the sensitivity + and - keys, along with the windows flip keys to other functions. For BF3, the + key was reload and the - key was melee, and middle mouse was to enter/exit vehicles. Forward was sprint and Back was grenade. Can't remember what i mapped the Flip button to though. Bindings in Deus Ex and Bioshock were different from BF3/COD though due to the Augs/Plasmids.
