Hum, this or a bluetooth shower speaker? I listen to podcasts in the shower/bathroom while getting ready for work every day and have been looking for a way to get some more oomph to overcome the noise in the shower. Think I might bring this up at work too, they have been looking for a way to easily control some speakers on the main staffing floor.

Do you own this? Seems like a pretty good solution for what I need.

Just to give some input, I was an owner of two of these units. They worked really well when I had them (wish I had known about the metal plate / upside down mod - to increase range). I only sold them because I was moving and needed to recoup some money. I was planning on purchasing another unit but unfortunately, it's not in my budget at this time (even at $30 + tax). I would get it if logitech drops an open box or scratch and dent unit to about $15.

Good info. Repped!

Think I'll buy a 15ft 3.5mm audio cable for $2 instead and hold off until prices drop further.

I'd take the logitech for the quality in both audio and product. Logitech has superb service to go along with their product.

Have you used the other products that you quoted? I've never had a problem with Monoprice quality or service and they are always priced reasonably, so just wondering why you suggest Logitech over them.

Another option would be to buy one of those clip on style bluetooth headsets. Just bought one for $10 and hooked it up to a set up powered speakers instead of the headphones that came with it. Works great.

Some advantages are:
1) Can run off battery power so it's truly portable. The Logitech has to have wall power.
2) You can control your device (track forward or back, volume up or down, play, pause) from the bluetooth device.
3) You can even answer calls if needed and use it as a speakerphone.

Can't say anything about sound quality since I haven't heard the Logitech, but the way I'm doing it sounds great. Either way, this isn't the ideal way to get high quality sound.

I would throw this one into the discussion as well. Meritline has this one sale from time to time for $9.99 (what I paid for it). It has great sound, I use it in the car to stream Pandora on my phone. My only complaint is that I have to turn it on when I get into the car. Otherwise, the battery lasts for 40+ hours of streaming! Here's the link [meritline.com].
