Considering a brand-new Custom II [kimberamerica.com] goes for just about $100 more... I guess it would still depend on whether the cosmetics mean a lot to you or not.
Me, if I'm laying out that much for a weapon, I want it to be perfect. If there are going to be any imperfections I want to put them on the thing myself. Then again, if bullets come out of the right hole and go where I aim them, you could say I'm being too picky.I don't consider Kimber pistols to be antiques or rare or anything. It'd be different if we were looking at an older firearm that was carried in combat or even just issued to an officer and handed down or something. Un cul vu n'est pas perdu.

Personally, I dont mind cosmetic imperfections on an older firearm. It adds character. But not in something like this that is a current model production gun. So , no, I would not pay $750 for that gun. Last edited by jeepdog; 09-09-2012 at 10:26 AM.. |

Happiness and depression are both feelings, just like joy and anger. It's not feelings that give us problems. It's what we do with them that makes the difference.

and Bud's sells it for $1114 but it is out of stock. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalo.../4115343306 With that being said I wouldn't be too thrilled to have that kind of damage on a gun like that but if those numbers are accurate it would be tempting at $750. I can't see the scratches that good on this monitor but being stainless I wouldn't be surprised if they could be repaired. For what it's worth it was worth all the while

I'd probably go $600. And that's just because it's got the Kimber name on it.
