Follow feature

I had signed up to follow campUSA2 so I didn't miss out on all the free kindle books. To make a long story short, I don't get any emails or notifications about his posts (or anything). I have all forums checked now, after initially just having the freebies forum checked. I have notification by email and Info Notification (Popup Bubble). \

Is there something that I need to do differently? Is this feature just not working or is this a bug?

It's never worked for me either so I un-followed the dedicated freebie posters.

This issue with following notifications on freebie subforums has been fixed.

Thanks, do i need to unfollow and then re follow since I am still not getting alerts?

You may want to update the selected forums for that user to include the freebie sub-forums now. Let me know if that doesn't work for you.

Maybe the person following you "disabled followers". I just did that myself. I had 125+ people following me (have no idea why).

Within the past couple weeks I noticed my threads being posted on other sites. At first I figured maybe I was paranoid, but today one of my thread titles was copied word for word.

If someone's going to copy/paste slickdeals "deals" on other web sites they should at least use a different screen name on either site.

Maybe having the "follow" feature on SD isn't a great idea?
