Why not just go to the PC manufacturer's website [ibuypower.com] and download the drivers from them?

You can try the Realtek LAN drivers from ASRock who made the motherboard in the computer:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview...l=H6 Installing the "INF driver" at that link might solve the problem of missing SM Bus drivers. You can also go straight to Realtek for the latest driver: http://www.realtek.com Last edited by dhc014; 09-09-2012 at 01:59 PM.. |

Type "Device Manager" in Start -> Search and in the device manager window look for all network adapters under "Network adapters" section. If you have anything in device manager window shows question / exclamation mark, right click on that item and choose "Properties" -> "Details" tab -> Choose "Hardware Ids" from the drop-down menu and post the content as those ids will tell you which chip your devices uses and it makes it easy to search for drivers online. If there are nothing unusual in device manager then you don't need any drivers. Your network adapter should be working. The next thing would be getting the correct TCP/IP settings done. |

AS for this option? I try to find drivers but don't know which one I have installed on the motherboard or how to find out? Last edited by RWilliams; 09-11-2012 at 07:25 AM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

yeah you definitely needed the motherboard drivers from the motherboard manufacturer, since the NIC is onboard. also chipset drivers ar every important, make sure you get those too if you havent already.
