Can I give this two thumbs up!! Awesome. Thank you OP for posting. Also:

You might add that Kindle Fire will need the app Audible.com

I didn't know that, so it took me a few google searches to figure out how to get the audio on my Kindle. That might help someone else.
Thanks, I added it to the Wiki. Sorry, I didn't know how to link you name there for any rep.

It took ten minutes to add 42 books to the cart and check out. It will take 400 hours to listen to them all. Thanks SD

FROM AMAZON'S WEBSITE:
When you own the Whispersync for Voice-ready Kindle book and the Audible audiobook you can switch between reading and listening without losing your place.

Read with:
All Kindle E Ink readers
All Kindle tablets
All Kindle reading apps

Listen with
Audible app for iPhone
Audible app for Android
All Kindle Tablets
...and never lose your place.

Or Read and Listen at the same time with:
Kindle Fire (latest generation)
Kindle Fire HD 7"
Kindle Fire HD 8.9"
What about iPad? I don't see it mentioned. I got all the books on both your lists and tried to download them to my iPad and it said it could not download in safari (the browser for the iPad).

FYI, I read the details of 2 books - Black Beauty and David Copperfield. BOTH are abridged versions, they are not the complete originals. Not thread crapping. Just an FYI. Buyer beware.

I'd assume that you would need to get the "Kindle" app and the "Audible" app from iTunes to get these on your iPad.

Do you only have 30 days to listen to the audio books or do you get to keep them after the trial?

Thanks. That's just what I hoped for.

OP: Thanks. Downloaded 36 titles. Repped.
The first thing I do is strip the DRM from all of my Audible books. Not to pirate them, but in case they ever stop offering the service. I paid for the books, I intend to keep them. Their DRM is pretty seemless, I've never ran into an issue playing it on any device, but its nice knowing I do not depend on their DRM servers.

Just download the Audible app for iOS and you can listen to books via streaming right in the app. They even have achievements for listening to books, etc. Oh you can also download them on your computer and sync the AAX (CD Quality with chapters, etc), right to your iDevice. iTunes has built in Audible DRM support for both Windows and Mac OS

That really sucks. I always make sure that I get unabridged versions of books, and David Copperfield was one of the ones that I picked up. Frown
