thanks phdeez, i just don't think they are making this set anymore, any being sold from the lego site are coming from the stores or already manufactured. Could be wrong though.

$350 is a good price and should turn a profit once it's OOS everywhere... maybe not >$2k but at least 7-900... As you mentioned earlier, there are alot of minifigs in this set, and IMO, more than a few set specific pieces.

I don't think you'll see these on BF. In fact, I think, if you're interested in either, you better buy while you can.

Good deal if you want one, and the price doesn't get much lower than that and I think the set will be gone soon. I am not sure if you'd want to get into this for reselling (anyone remember Beanie Babies economics?), but it is a lot of fun if you have the spare change about and want to keep the neighbor's kids amazed at your kids toys.

If you are living in a state that charges taxes or have some moral qualms about dodging taxes, there is another way to get this for a similar price at a lego store. The latest Fall Lego catalog has a 10% off coupon on the back for in store purchases, which gets it to you for the same price. Additionally, if you sign up for a Lego ID you get a $5 gift card for every $100 purchase, so you immediately earn $15 and are 60% on your way to the next $5. You also qualify for a free zombie mini car set. That should about cover taxes for most folks, but if you happen to live in NY this deal is better since Amazon will hit you for taxes already.
