Hotel in San Francisco September 14 & 15

Hi all,

Looking for a deal on a hotel room in San Francisco (and any recommendations!). Two night stay for two people: Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15. Wondering what we can get in the price range of $200 or less per night. Would love to be in San Francisco proper, although we will have a car so we can commute. We don't really want to stay in Oakland.

I've been looking at the usual booking websites, but not finding anything amazing. Are there any major promotions or coupons currently in effect that I haven't noticed on SD?

if your looking for value and a clean place, I highly recommend staying at America's Best Value Inn, its cheap ($69 weekdays $79-$89 weekends), has all amenities, and if you stay at the Richmond joint its right off the bay bridge, good parking and rooms have been renovated recently
Otherwise if your willing to spend $200ish per night, stay at Embassy suites, best hotel IMO, breakfast here is amazing
