Aw damn, I just bought THIS VERY SAME case on Amazon for $31... Bummer...

It's a nice case BTW. I just don't like the front bezel much. It has a "slanted" appearance that drives my OCD side crazy. Smilie

I may have commented on that in my first review of just this case in the NZXT 220 thread. The idea appears to be that if the case is sitting in a CPU nook in a computer desk or someplace similar, and instead of having to reach around the lip/overhang of the top panel, the "slant" gives you easier access to the USB and audio ports. At first when I assembled it I thought I was crazy, and then I realized the rationale behind it. Between that, the cable managment, and the bottom PSU with bottom fan to isolate the PSU from any excess heat off the GPU's - well, I bought a second case. Big Grin

Good price but will pass on this since I got the cougar case for $18 the other week and I think that one is nicer.

If you look at their ad it has a page with the intel processors and the motherboard combo price. I think they had some pretty good deals i5 is 189.99 and the i7 is 259.99
Actually i7 2700K is $229.99 and if you buy a motherboard you will get a $50 discount. Here is the Deal I posted a couple of days ago.

Why would you start a post with "actually" when what I said is also correct? The ivy bridge i7 (3770) is 259.99, which is what I was referring to.

I have the same exact case as well. Everything appears to be okay to me. Rebate does comes eventually.

You might have an issue if you put a very big CPU fan/heatsink. I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus and it barely make it. Also you have to be careful on the CPU fan and the RAM placement particularly if you are planning to fill up all the available RAM slots. I have to buy RAM that doesn't have the tall heat spreader so that it can fit underneath my CPU fan/heatsink.

Take a look at these pictures and you will get a better understanding

I just built a comp with the cougar ($18) and this one should be on my doorstep by the end of the day. I'll report back the pro's and con's of both.

For $18, there was a deal on a Cougar case which includes USB 3.0. But I didn't like the look of it. I guess I wanted the minimalism like Antec Performance series. Of course, this case isn't anywhere near Antec P series but at least the design resembles it a bit, so I am in for one.
IIRC the USB 3.0 on the Cougar was only a passthrough.

Thinking of using this for a home-built RAID NAS. Any idea how many drives will fit in the bays? It'd be nice to fit 4 or 5 drives in there...

Also ordered mine yesterday and it arrived before lunch today. Silly fast shipping.

Oh, and the case is kickass. If I had a need for 2 of them, I wouldn't hesitate.
