common question...easy answser...HDMI cables either work or they don't...there's really not much in between. Lower quality cables like this may just not be "shielded" like a monster cable (which you'll pay 100 times more for), but as long as you don't braid the hdmi cable with a power cable you'll be just fine...LOL

But shielding and cable quality is still decently important. There's no way I'd ever purchase budget HDMI cables. I've bought plenty of the years that were touched only during installs; less than a year later and they were already starting to fray. It can be a real serious issue depending on how your TV's hdmi ports are situated.

You can get cheap shielded bluerigger cables for cheap, and they are going to last a lot longer than fly-by-night companies.
