Reviews say the durability on the hayate is pretty crappy. What about some hard pads? I'm not a big fan of the softies. I'm trying to find something like my Razer ExactMat. I've had the thing for 5 years and it's still got the original finish on one of the sides (the other was HEAVILY used for a looooong time, so I finally flipped it lol). As far as the mouse, though.. I've long since stopped buying Logitech. The Razer Naga with the side buttons actually feels nice for SC2 since I can use all the numbers for control groups with my thumb. Makes unit control much smoother than it used to be. I only used to use 1-5, but now I can use the rest since it's not that hard to reach without losing my place.
