XBOX 360 Warranty Sticker

Looks fine to me. There are 2 different stickers they use but its a legit seal. That doesn't mean its not modded though. Its easy to remove the sticker with a hair dryer.

Ok thanks, that is good to know. It turns on an all I have not tested a disc in it yet, but I will when I get home. I got it for a decent price, so I am not complaining too much...

Modded xboxes haven't been a big deal lately. I have had one of mine modded since May of 2009 and I still play it online. I keep the mod updated though.

Is it so much the modded Xbox that is a big deal or the fact that you are playing modded games?

Usually people were being banned recently because they played games the week before release and stuff like that.

Can't you buy warranty stickers anyways?

I had a system banned for playing MW2 early but nothing since then.

Yup. I traded my launch system to gamestop and I bought a sticker off ebay to put on it.

What happens when a system gets banned? How do you know if it is or not? How do you find out?

You find out when you the system tells you that you are banned and you can no longer connect to xbox live. One of the updates along the way made it to where anything on a banned system would seem corrupted to a system that wasn't banned. Say you had your gamertag and saves on a memory unit. If you accessed the gamertag or saves on a banned system then tried it on a normal system, it would be corrupted. They might have fixed that when the USB storage update came around but I didn't have a banned system at that time.

Have they had another big ban wave since... I guess... like 2 years ago?

I know they ban for obvious crazy stuff instantly like custom dashboards, but I havent heard anything of a ban wave for modders

cause most modders are using the glitch mode now
