I was just going to ask this. Subscribed to AM free trial and am getting 222 ct Baby Dry diapers for $34.75

Are they worse than Swaddlers? We're expecting in Feb and I am getting different sizes and brands to have the choice when the baby's here. Have one box of Pampers size 1 (thanks to those folks who said I wouldn't need more than one box), one box of Huggies size 2 and was looking to get Baby Dry size 3. Should I go ahead and get it?
Any advice? Thanks!

My baby gets horrible diaper rash from the baby dry (or huggies snug&dry) but does great in the swaddlers...of course lots of people dont have a problem with them, but i wound up giving away quite a few.

The baby will grow at a pretty fast rate and a lot of babies essentially come out too big for newborn diapers and clothes. But you will be changing diapers 6-12 times a day initially. Size 1 are good for 8-14 pounds. So if you get the biggest box ever at 234 that is still only good for 20-40 days. You can start using size 2 at 12lb. Size 3 start at 16 pounds. You would be near the 100th percentile if you got to 16 pounds using just one box of each. Its far more likely that you will go through 1.5-2 boxes of each. No matter how fast you get through them you should be in sz 3 for a looooong time.

The Cruisers are made for babies on the move. Less padding for babies not moving around, better bands that allow for some extra movement. The Baby Dry are pretty great at wicking wet away from the baby, but they basically all do the same.

I would certainly advise you grab a few boxes of threes at this price while you still have Amazon Mom.

Just a FYI for anyone who discovers their Pampers order is mysteriously cancelled...

I placed my order for Pampers Cruisers Size 4 Count 198 back on 9/12 for $29.99 but found Drugstore.com had cancelled it over the weekend without sending an email...apparently sizes 3, 4, and 5 are on backorder. Rep said usually Drugstore.com puts hold on order until it's restocked, but for some reason my order was cancelled. Rep was very helpful to reissue order at the same price, stating that the diapers should come in 1-2 weeks after they are restocked...
