Not true, I purchased my tv on 8/27 and got my $50 credit.

I purchased the TV on 08/29.

I'm getting the follwing error message:

You are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
(Only new paid service members who registered during the promotion period can participate.)

I have even tried to create the account again. No luck. Any idea how to get around it ?

I'm having the same issue. I have tried to use the account I registered my tv with lg.com and then made 2 new accounts on different computer and no luck! Ugh! I never could get it to come up anywhere to have me enter my tv sn either.

hey where did you buy your TV by chance.. they are telling me that because I got my tv at Best Buy even though its inside the time frame that mine is not eligible.
