you dont need to wait, order now! call customer service on the phone and theyll change the price on your order in a minute, $399 will apear in your order, they charge you when they ship, so thats how much youll be charged - $399 You have to order it first, then call them on the phone theyll change the price for you, youll be charged when it ships, so you wont pay more than $399 even that you order the $448 Amazon price on first place. Tiger Direct had a Thin 51 Inch Samsung Plasma for $429 shipped with no tax in most states and Frys had a Thin 50 Inch LG Plasma for $400 for instore pick up. Yes both were 720p, but can you really tell the difference with these high end brands?
This deal is OK, not a slick deal. Black Friday is approaching, you wont even have to camp like last year for that 40 inch Sharp for $200 from bestbuy, they going to have a lot of sales this year especially online, and even heavily discounted refurbs like walmart just had for $129 for a 32 inch, or 40 inches for $199. Patience is your best friend. |

no tax makes the deal almost the same price as targets clearance, but without the hassle of finding a store that actually has it on clearance and in stock; downside is i can't drive it back if it's DOA
in for 1. only allowed to buy japanese TV's by strict orders from the boss... |

60Hz
I wouldn't worry about it. Most LCDs TVs do a horrible job of interpolating frames, causing the "Soap Opera" effect. The purists on AVS Forums usually turn it off, though some TVs do a better job than others. On my Sony XBR 909, I do have it turned down to the lowest setting. It is completely off on my other LCDs because it looks more artificial than 60 Hz. I would rather have judder than making a running back look cartoonish. But, to each his own. And, your TV might be doing a good job of it, to be fair. The BX420 got quite good reviews at CNET and did better than some more expensive TVs that had all the gadgets. If there are some minor improvements in this TV, and nothing is lost from the BX420, this would be a good deal for a barebones TV. |

SONY is sony, they wont be $200 never, 1080p is from here to the moon diference from 720p I personaly would never buy PLASMA... I neded an basic 1080p 60 Hz good brand LCD TV and i found my best choise for a brand 2 days before Amazon starts charging tax from which i had $100 Gift card ![]() is pretty slick deal for ME... i cant speak for anyone else, it wont make front page, yes, is only a $50 price drop, its still good, i take it. i pay for the brand. Mine came to $295 after PM, free $100 GC and my 1% cashback from citi (lol i know, 1% right... is only 1 but on everythig, no categories and rotating...) Exactly what i was looking for, a barebone TV of the best brand (my opinion) Last edited by hristopelov; 09-12-2012 at 08:48 PM.. |
