Save your money. I made the mistake of buying an FM transmitter on amazon a few weeks ago. The sound quality is a joke. There will always be static in the background. Save your money and buy an aftermarket head unit with AUX/USB input

yeah i had one that worked well years ago, but the last two or three i've bought have been horrible. they were all name brand products too, so i just gave up on the technology. i actually bought a cheap one like this through a slickdeals meritline sale and the thing didn't even work at all. good luck though.

If it doesn't work I'll complain to amazon and keep it free.

How does this sound quality compare to a cassette adapter? I have a 2003 Car with one :-\

I understamd we're talking cheap here, but we're also presenting solutions with WIRES - yuk! Every phone has Bluetooth now... (If yours doesn't just move along!)

I would look for bluetooth receiver with FM transmitter (but only if your car doesn't have an aux port) just search around for "Bluetooth Car Fm Transmitter".

If you do have an aux port - I would consider the Britelink Bluetooth receiver - Amazon has it for <$30 an it is pretty simple. Bypass that FM signal if you can! I have one and love it!

So risky to use something like this, it's a hit or miss.

They are risky, but the one I've had for over 2 years has worked flawlessly. It still works good, but is kind of falling apart on me.

I think it's worth the "risk" to dish out a whopping $6.04 on this one.

Personally, I find the needle (stylus for you audiophiles) skips in the car!

And, the tape in my 8 tracks has turned to dust.

You should have stayed with using those Edison Wax Cylinders - those seem to last forever!

It doesn't work with my "new" jet, Therefore I'm letting you know like you did for me. This product only works on Old jets.
So this is a waste of money for both of us since were on a different level with our new classy stuff we have.

if you have a cassette adapter, you're better off with that. The cassette adapter's sound quality is a thousand times better than an FM transmitter.
