In 4 1. I got 1 last year for $35AR, and have had no problem with it so far. At $40AR now, although not as slick as the last time but by my standard, it's slick enough

How does this compare to this?
Diablotek UL Series PSUL775 775W ATX 12V v2.31 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6817822015 It's $42 after coupon and rebate... Right now im running my q9450 and SLI GTX 275s on an OCZ ModX 500w, and I'm scared my PC will catch fire any second... I have externally powered fans and just 1 harddrive-- so as not to load the PS... Thoughts? |

Try that I did it out quick and I'm surprised your current supply can power it. I wouldn't go with this OCZ, I would look for a 700W. I don't know anything about Diablotek, so I'll let someone else answer that question. Last edited by cmorris1441; 09-13-2012 at 11:19 AM.. |

that diablotek PSU is crap. Get a good brand PSU. Something in 600 watts range is good enough. |

The big bonus here being that it's a "modular" psu. So you only hook up the connections you need and there's no extra wires coming from the back of the psu that need to be tucked away! Modular's are nice for beginner builds because you won't be left with alot of confusing multicolored wires thinking "....What didn't I hook up right?" With this psu everything will be clearly labeled so when your done there's an easier presence of accomplishment.
