free selective digital mags (30 days trial- possibly free?) nextissue.com TABLETS ONLY

This is similar to zinio.com, but this is an all-u-can-read subscription. You have to sign up online....not through the app. This doesn't have an online reader like Zinio. You read the mags through a tablet's app...Ipad or an android running 3.0 or greater with a screen resolution either 1024x600 or 1280x800 pixels.

Sign up with a gift or rebate card with a zero balance. Don't use an active credit card or will get charged after 30 days!! Pick out the sub. you want..basic or premium. Premium has People, New Yorker, Time, etc.

The beauty of this app is that it will give an option to download past issues starting from the calendar year!

Now the possibly freebie part. I have signed up for 2 months now using 2 different inactive gift cards, and different emails, and had no problem. This is for those that love to read mags! It takes a little work, but it's worth it to read free mags on your tablet.

I checked the mag. for brides, and it starts from Jan. 2012. However, once 2013 comes around, I think it deletes the 2012 back issues, and starts over for the new calendar year.
I can't prove that though.

Not a terrible program. Bookmarked until they support Android 4.1+ tablets. Current Android app is onlu for Honeycomb. On August 7th they said it was coming soon...

Technically this isn't a "freebie" it's scheming to effectively steal - I'm all for a slick deal but if you like the service, pay for it

and I like nextissue but you'd better like to read a lot of magazines like I do, otherwise $120 or $180 becomes rather expensive for a few annual subscriptions - however, they do have some weekly magazines in there and the back issues

hopefully they have some discount codes soon... unless the "freebie" people ruin it for those who want to get legitimate subscriptions

I know it's not Jelly Bean but I have it running on a rooted Nook Color with Ice Cream Sandwich, works fine - so not just for Honeycomb
