All of them require excellent credit, other than the first chase one that varies in the reward amount.

This is interesting, because I wanted to apply for a penfed card anyways. Add an extra $50 GC and it makes it a relatively good deal for me.

for what it is worth, if you look around you can get at least 100-300 for signing bonus from the card company assuming you have some credit

i have amex, visa, master, and diners club card, just not discover and while their rewards sometimes are nice, for some reason i always associate discover with the less fortunate which might very well be an incorrect stereotype but since no one in my circle uses one, i don't want one
