I cashed out my coke reward points for Best Buy before they limited them to 2. Went through mypoints and will earn reward zone points as well! This is going to be that impossible to get toy for Christmas I just know it!

Just put in my order with Gamestop but silly me noticed that if I buy a power rewards you can just pay the $25 instead of putting down 50 bucks. A much better deal to go ahead and buy the power rewards membership and then just put down 25.

Yeah that's true. It's just instead of 50 bucks down you can get the power up pro for 14.99 and then put 25 down for the system. The Pro rewards does make things cheaper and give more for trade ins. Just for anyone that's interested in it. Just a thought pretty much.

I saw that. Walmart always does this. Some people might be interested in a game, but I'd say most already have enough remotes and don't need another. In the past, each item was invoiced separately and you could return the unwanted items and keep only what you wanted.

When you preorder from bestbuy or anywhere else for that matter does it charge your card right away or will it charge your card when it ships 11/18/2012?

TRU in store $20 deposit.

Yeah, I got fooled[*] by that too. I was hoping it was a free $20 or $50 GC with purchase, like they've done sometimes before. (they still might do it, but probably not at launch).

It will be interesting to see what the launch deals will be, if any, especially with BF coming up only a week later.

It will be interesting to see if the pre-orders sell out quickly, or if pre-orders are still available past this weekend. That might help determine how "hot" the Wii U is going to be at launch. We know from recent handhelds (3DS and Vita), there was plenty of supply and not much demand at launch. I do expect the Wii U will be much more in demand, but I'm not sure if it will match the wild atmosphere of the last gen launches (360, PS3s, Wii). However, I did learn my lesson from those events, and yes, I did pre-order.

PS3 was so easy to get. I bought just one to try to resell since I was making so much money on selling Wiis and I ended up keeping it because I didn't want to suffer a huge loss on the sale! LOL

I'm thinking the Wii U will be more akin to the Vita and 3ds. Have you seen video games sales lately? They are WAAAAAAY down year over year. People are doing all their gaming on their smart phones now!
