Not bad, had staples price match amazon and used the staples coupon back in the day. Still had to pay tax and to coupon of course.
In the SF Bay Area.

This modem runs hot. I didn't order the Comcast 100 mbps speed though  Can't wait to test the 160 mbps max someday.

Was going to get one of these for the 30Mbps internet plan on Comcast, I ended up getting an SB 5100 off Ebay for $18. It runs at 35Mbps on speedtests so it's good enough for me. I would imagine getting one of these if you were on an internet plan >38Mbps.

That's dead wrong, free modem... very first bullet point. They changed up all the services a few months back and it has been free since, old news. Also this modem only supports 4 bonded channels.... for a little more you can future proof yourself by investing in a modem that supports 8 bonded channels. Not a good investment at this price. |
