How does this application get tied to my Skymiles account? How do they know where to deposit the bonus miles? If I bring up the "regular" application form-- obtained from web search-- there is a place for entering your Skymiles number, but I don't see that in the form that is linked from this thread.

I know that several people have posted they've been approved via the deal posted in this thread. Have any of those folks been able to confirm that their Skymiles # has been tied into their credit card application?

Calling B.S. on this. SkyMiles is the most anti-consumer of all the programs, it's true, but with flexibility it's extremely easy to get 25,000 Saver redemptions. You're probably obsessing over one itinerary.

• She and I went to LAX-Japan-Taiwan R/T on 70,000 miles each last November.
• In 2010 we went LAX-Madrid on 60,000 miles each +$60 in taxes. The same flights are 110,000-120,000 miles to go First Class.
• I have booked another trip for next month LAX-Amsterdam for 60,000 miles round trip.

I regularly see LA-NY round trip for 25,000 but it is somewhat of a waste to use miles on domestic considering there are many internatinal flights to be found for 60,000 or 70,000. The Delta award ticket booking system can be glitchy and a pain but there are plenty of resources out there to help you maximize your miles, i.e. thepointsguy.

Please don't spread misinformation if you don't know what you're talking about. You're discouraging people who could benefit from these opportunities by giving them false information.



EDIT: I did a search for skymiles award flights for LAX-Amsterdam next month. It took me two seconds and the are dozens of options for 60,000 round trip awards. See screenshot. Educate yourselves, people! Do some research on your own and take everything you read here with a grain of salt.

200 flights in 3 year is pretty crazy. so you flight out on monday and return on friday every week for the last 3 years?

Put them under name as it appears on card. Trial and error if it doesn't work. You can always go back and edit before final submission.
