Delta gold Skymile - 70,000miles and 100 statement credit after 5000 in 6 months

Is this a phishing attempt?
Any way to verify that it's legit?

I currently have my skymiles account to transfer all miles to my Alaska air miles. Anyone with experience on whether this will transfer or stay as delta miles?

I applied and got approved. I went to www.americanexpress.com/myappstatus and it shows up there, so it's legit.

What the hell? I can't fill in the First Name and Last Name fields, even after correcting the URL as instructed! What gives? I get queries for Middle Initial and Name on Card only. Anyone else?

Just click the next field and it'll let you enter full name rather than first and last separately

Yes, this is a possibility if your spending approaches your annual income that you report on your application. However, don't lie on your application. I use my amex for all my purchases (minus any minimum spends that I have to reach on other cards throughout the year) plus the extra ~12k per year for using Amazon Payments and I have been able to avoid the review. I am single income and have a good, professional job. Someone in the same boat should be fine. Also blue collar dual-incomes should also not have a problem. When my wife worked and we were dual income, I used our combined gross household income on the applications. Apparently, combining incomes may not be allowed in some states. I am not an expert, so don't ask me if you can.

I think this is only good while you still have the card. If Delta is a good priced airline for you, then this is awesome ($800 worth of airfare!)

Unfortunately, for most of us, Delta is a little more expensive. Most of my flights out of Miami are $100 more when I fly Delta over SouthWest.
