Really? RA has a L2C for a product they haven't carried in two years? Why am I not surprised?


(Starbucks was pulled from RA in the summer of 2010 - Inscrootable and I had some good times hitting every RA in the Northeast and getting bags for free, as they were deleted from the system and rang up 0.00.)


Unless of course they are going to stock it again? Or do they stock the Via instant packs? I've never noticed them but maybe that's the case.

Is that something that is at all RA stores, or all stores? I purchased a gallon of distilled bottle water. It rang up for more than the price that was on the shelf. I had paid for it before I noticed that it rang up incorrectly because I had other items also. The cashier called the manager up. I asked the RA manager if I got the water for free since it rang up incorrectly. She said no. That I got it for the price that was tagged. Just wondering now if I should have called customer service.

Thanks all! I got my next week ad in the driveway today and saw the RAQ for the 1 ct free with sale price of $3 and RAQ of $3 so FREE and thought I would hit the store early with gold it would be $3.19 not $3.59 so might consider paying 19 cents OOP for it.

Had a confusing transaction today. I still have my +Ups L2C instead of printed, and today I did a tranny where my +Ups came off before I was able to use any of my coupons.

I tried to remove some items from the order before I paid, so that my +ups wouldn't all get used, but manager said that they were effectively already used even if I removed items from my order. Is that true? I don't understand how they could be used if I didn't even finish the transaction yet.

Either way, I opted out of L2C for +Ups - this is actually the first time I've had an issue but now I see the pitfalls.

Anyone have insight? TIA!

Started with 1+up, 1+up, 1+up, 1+up, 2+up L2C
Hormel 1.99

Did you hand over your card to scan before the coupons ?? System takes all the the UPs loaded it can to pay for those items.

No. The transaction must be complete in order to use them. You can juggle and manipulate UPs any way you want while the transaction is in progress.

This is NOT a reason to exit L2C!


ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS refuse to give your card until after coupons are scanned if you have L2C UPs. If your manager won't allow this, cancel your transaction completely and call CS to complain. (Management and cashiers are probably still getting educated about L2C in your area.)
