Holy s--t. I just paid $530 otd for Americas Tire. Goodyear Comfort Treads for my CRV. Sears was 6 hundred-ish but with the rebate it came down to $560. Americas Tire Beat it by 20 bucks. However I didnt know about the buy 3 get one free deal!!!!!!!! That would have lowever it to $560-$140 = $420 ish. So Im paying about $100 more. However Americas Tire is a lot closer to my home should anything go wrong. They have free rotations too. I dont think Sears does this for free...(do they?)

You bum! I wish I looked at this post earlier! I just got back home from Americas Tire!!!

$500? I got my bridgestones mounted and installed for under $300 w/o having to use sears CC or deal with any rebates. $500 doesn't seem much of a deal. $130 a tire? The people posting deals sometimes, I wonder what they were drinking Smilie
Same size and rating tires?

edit: nevermind I see I'm late to to the game, everyone already pestered you about this. Slickdeals offers no way to delete this post or I would

Goodyear Eagle RSAs are awful in my experience. I had a set on my 2006 Mazda 3s (17") when I bought it new from the factory. They didn't even last 15,000 miles. Those were truly crap tires.

But then again, it seems as though everyone has different experiences based on driving habits/tire rotations/vehicle in question. These tires are going on a '11 Sonata 2.0t which is the family cruiser. I don't think I should have any problems hitting 40,000.
I think you hit it on the dot, with all the reviews thru out the years on different tires, it seems everyone's experience are different, my Eagle RSA are 215/50r/17 and the reviews were a mix batch also complaining about the wear but mine lasted much longer then average.

I wish the reviews on tires can be sorted by the model of the car/size, that actually gave me an idea.

So if you don't use a Sears CC, you still get the Buy 3 Get 1 free deal, AUTO40 for $40 off, free shipping, and a $80 mail in rebate? Is that confirmed to work without using the Sears CC?

And it's only for these two types of tires: Goodyear SR A and Comfort ride?
Heres the Goodyear rebate: http://www.goodyeartirerebates.com/ -- it clearly shows the rebate amounts for using Sears CC or not

Buy 3 Get 1 Free applies to:
- Goodyear Assurance ComfortTred ($80 rebate or $160 w/ Sears card)
- Goodyear Wrangler SRA ($40 rebate or $80 w/ Sears card)
- Falken 912

Sadly, they do not carry one single goodyear tire that fits my car. What a rip.

Tires for 3/4 ton trucks aren't cheap and mine would've made it another winter, but it wouldn't have been the safest.

The B3G1 free deal saved me $200 alone. $40 off $400 pretty much eliminated sales tax for me. $40 pre-paid visa card via-mail-in will sweeten the deal and pretty much make installation free because lifetime mount/balance/rotate was only $15/tire.

I don't know how I can feel this good about buying rubber, but damn if I didn't just save a crapload due to this sale.

SamClub has the best tire deals daily..
Costco comes in close second .. they're expensive but they have some deals. Service is very good.
BJs well there service after you buy the tires are strange. They only rotate two tires where as SamClub does it all at no charge.
i am wondering if their tires are seconds. My son bought two different sets for two different vehicles and the tires had to be rebalanced on each vehicle multiple times. Then they told him if he wanted a new set of tires he would have to get a certified mechanic to verify the front end and suspension parts were in good shape. What a hassle. I don't know if it;s factory seconds or poor balancing to begin with the both vehicles are only 1 year old

$374.07 out the door minus $80 rebate minus $37.40 in Chase Ultimate Rewards = $256.67 / 4 = $64.17 per tire. For Consumer "Best Buy" ranked Goodyear tires that originally cost between $130 and $140 per tire? Seriously?... Major score!

Doubt it, I've had trouble with every major brand of tire I've tried. It's amazing how many of them are out of round right from the factory.

None of the sale tires were available at any stores near me, but I got free shipping to my home (I have SYWR Max, it may be necessary). Might be a good option if anyone else has no stores around that carry their size.

I need new tired but those falkens look like they have some horrible reviews. How often do tire deals come along on slickdeals that's worth taking a look? I just got a flat tire fixed and the mechanic told me my tires are in very rough condition and I should probably change them before it starts to rain.
