I just signed up for the Pet Pals thing. I read through the thread but I'm confused...if I just show up with the printed version of the 50% off coupon should they accept it, or is my Pet Pals account linked with the discount?

What was the subject title of the email you received? I received a Petco email today about "Mega September Savings" but nothing about a mystery coupon.

just went to the petco in San Francisco, California. I asked them about the sale tomorrow and no one knew anything about it.

I thought Petco sells it like $50 plus when it is not on sales. Even on sales it's like $48. |

Just checked my email and do not have a Mystery Coupon email. Had an email from Petco that was sent this morning at about 5:40am promoting a Mega Savings Event......20%-40% off sitewide.

I wonder how long it will take corporate to figure out that everyone is redeeming the 50% off "mystery" discount, and reprogram the registers so that the 50 rings in at 15%? Worth a try, but Petco is normally about 15-20% higher than PetSmart on most items to begin with... BTW, PetSmart has a 15% off entire purchase this weekend, too. Printable from their webpage with Perks membership. |

...and our stores have wonderful avian employees. Yes its not the best situation for the birds, but many don't go on to much better homes even after being bought as not all bird owners truly give them enough attention and cage-free time. I'd love to have the cash to pick up a bird for DH, since mom took back the African grey again....We could even keep this one from swearing...
