Although "Quantum View" seems to be the brand name, if you look at the picture of the back of the TV, it says "Hiteker". Not a "known" brand either, but their TV's seem to have decent reviews. (The EnergyGuide also shows Hiteker as the MFR.).

nothing about VESA mount but maybe a tilt mount like this cheetah http://www.amazon.com/Cheetah-Mou...0012S4APK/ would work. If it's not true 1080p as advertised it's going back. I used AMEX to double the warranty and local pickup/return is a win.

one of the reviews says its definitely 1080p. idk which is it.

here is a quote

"Another review here says that the tv is actually 1080i instead of 1080p. The tv is definitely 1080p. Maybe they were looking at netflix with a slow internet connection because netflix won't play in full HD when your internet connection is poor."

Here is a model from Amazon which appears to be an exact clone: http://www.amazon.com/Hiteker-LCD..._res_rtr_1 . This was $199 a couple weeks ago.

i went for it as well.

i believe walmart has a 15 day return policy as well even for opened boxes as long as it has all the packaging and of course the product.

I bit it, came out to $184 with Louisiana 9% tax No1

I figured if it's not great, or has bad speakers or display I'll just give it to my sister to put in her room. Pretty good price for a 32" HD flat screen even it;s not exactly 1080p.

There will probably be better deals around Black Friday but that's 2 months from now.

because 120 and above makes everything look swimmy and trashy...sorry but I've seen 120 and 240 and everything looks make believe...

can anyone confirm if this TV has coax input?

I don't have a cable box or anything...just a coax from dish network running into my room from the wall.

so, ive been using an old tv that accepts coax input and thats been working...now, that i bought this one...wondering if i can do the same thing or i need to buy a receiver of some type?
