How does my PC look? ;)

I ordered the parts for this computer back in mid-July. I've had this PC for over a month now and it's awesome. Third custom computer build and first watercooled build. Smilie

Specs:

Corsair Obsidian 800D Full Tower Case
Intel Core i7 3770k Processor
EVGA GTX 690 Graphics Card
G.Skill Ripjaws X 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) 2133 RAM
Asus P8Z77-V Premium Motherboard
Crucial M4 128 GB SSD
Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB HDD
Corsair HX850 850 Watt Power Supply Unit
2 x UV Blue Cathodes (For the tubing)

None of those components really gain any performance from water cooling. And as it's setup, your system isn't more quiet than a air cooled one, so the sound argument is out.

Longevity, perhaps your components will run for a longer lifespan, but that is pointless since they'll be obsolete long before they die, with or without the water setup.

In conclusion. C+ build.

What he really needs is a blinged-out gangsta glitter keyboard, right?

to be fair, why only a 128gb SSD? With the $$ you dropped in the system, at least 256GB SSD

Thanks! I think I did alright for my first watercooled build. I spent about $3k on this computer but it was very much worth it. I can run any game I want and everything is blazing fast. No slow downs or anything Smilie

On a 1080p monitor, I think I get like 100+ fps but I can't remember. I do know that I get a constant 60 but because of vsync being on most of the time, I rarely see it go over that unless I disable vsync.

On another note, I think I might try to watercool the 690 eventually. It will cost me ~$170 for the waterblock plus 2 $7 compression connectors. I already have a triple radiator and several feet of tubing left over but if I wanted to, I could also get another radiator to put on the backside of the case (maybe a single or dual 140mm). So it'd probably cost me over $250 to watercool my graphics card... I need to save up rofl Stick Out Tongue
