Definitely. The fact that this comes with the receiver is a big plus.

This controller actually does work for the xbox. I bought this for a bud a few months back and it's a regular wireless xbox controller, with an added USB transceiver too. If it was only for windows then why would microsoft keep the xbox logo plastered on the controller?

That's not right. It isn't just for windows, it's for BOTH. A normal wireless xbox controller can't be used with a computer. This just takes that regular controller and includes a dongle that lets it work with your computer, too. Great price considering your usual wireless controllers without the extra dongle don't usually get any cheaper than this.


edit: looks like I was beaten to it, but just like the others said. This gives you the best of both worlds.

Picked it up. Needed an additional controller for the XBOX and the dongle will come in handy for playing games on PC.
