Good deal. Paid $700 for my ZR27. Worth every penny. Non glossy screen is for pros.

Got this monitor a year or so ago. It's amazing. Once you experience the high res of this monitor you'll never want to go back.It's great for photoshop/photography/programming/design.

And if you're looking for a second screen to pair it with, the old 4:3 20" screens from viewsonic match beautifully right next to it in vertical position.

not exactly sure how they compare performance-wise, but the Del U3011 is newer and was $850 no rebate with tax in at least two places a few days ago.

If you have Windows, this is a great option, if you have a mini Mac, MacBook, iMac, or Mac Pro, just go with the Thunderbolt Display.

I don't see the point in this remark... thunderbolt is around 1k and is only 27". By the way windows pc can also use the thunderbolt display if you got a mini display port on your video card.

Using your graphics card software, adjust your desktop colors and raise the brightness of "Red" and "Green" by 10 units. That's kind of annoying, right? Now imagine that your display always has extraordinarily vibrant reds and an ugly green tint. That's the ZR30W in a nutshell because it has no sRGB emulation or OSD. That means calibration has to be done through a color profile (no hardware LUT) and colors will always be oversaturated like this if you're not using a color managed program.

As an owner of the 24" version, I disagree. Glossiness just produces more glare.

Agree, I have a 3007WFP-HC and this has the same problem. I think all of the 2007 era 30" panels had this problem.

You could get 3 27" monitors with 2560x1440 resolution for this price. We have 4 of them and cannot find a bad pixel on any.
