Walgreens 9/30 - 10/6 Deals

Clear did not ring up on sale for me...$7.49. Must be only in certain areas. So cost me $.50 each. Just a heads up for anyone in my area.

Did anyone else get a cat for balance reward member spent $35 get $10 off good for today and tomorrow

I got one for $5/$35.

What was the total of your transaction when you received the $10/$35?

My total was just over $50 when I received the $5/$35.

I've been getting $5/$35s also, with a total (pre-coupon) of about $36.

I got a cat for $25 get $10 off good for today and tomorrow..also I recv'd .25 mm for the cepacol ring up .75 each..Great Shopping trip this afternoon..

At my store everyone with a Balance Rewards card was getting a $2 off $10 catalina when they used their Rewards card. I got one and then used it on $10 worth of stuff that should have generated 2000 points. HOWEVER, when I got my receipt, the rewards summary said, "Earned this visit 0".

My manager is very good at trouble shooting things and she was curious so we did the same transaction again but without using the $2/$10 cat and I got the points! So, it appears that maybe these $/$$ catalinas for Balance Rewards members act as if you cashed in points and therefore you don't get points in transactions where you use these.

The fine print on these $/$$ Balance Rewards catalinas is the same as that on an RR. It doesn't say anywhere on it that if use it on items that are supposed to generate more points you won't get points.

Has anyone figured out what you'll buy with your $10/$35 cat without losing points or RRs?

I did two transactions this afternoon. I got the $2/$10 CAT after the first transaction and used it on the second transaction (It did cross my mind to worry if my points on the second transaction would come through)...it was not a problem. No $/$$ CAT on the second transaction though. I was at the photo counter as well, if that maybe makes a difference.

FYI - the $10/$50 coupons are printing again today, like they did yesterday (and the day before lol). 4 day expiration. Recvd them twice today (same card, two different stores) on transactions around $30 each before coupons.
