The decision for me is always dino vs synthetic. That means I would run either Premium or SynPower.

I would not use Maxlife as it's designed with additives that swell seals, possibly a benefit in some cars but I have nothing that old that uses oil or leaks.

NextGen is made from 50% recycled oil, which sounds undesirable but experts say "as a starting point recycled oil is in better shape that crude". I would consider using in place of the Premium but only if the price is lower. NOTE I don't know how they control the synthetic content if it makes any difference. If you want to be sure you are using all dino the only way I see is to use Premium.

You want to do a little research using Google on your car. As an example, our Lexus has one of the engines that is prone to sludge buildup. For that car we use a full synthetic, which is SynPower. Our 1985 RX-7 right now is on Valvoline Premium because it burns well in a rotary as they purposely inject oil into the combustion chamber. I also read the manufacturers recommendations and match oil weight to your temperature range where you live.

Most will tell you the frequency of oil change is more important that brand or type of oil. If you want to get real serious about research try this website and go to the oil forums.

If you use ANY of the above and change your oil per your owners manual, you will not have any oil related engine problems.
