It doesn't matter whether they are interested in a Wii U.

When the Wii U is released, it will drive X360 prices down and those prices will continue to fall. Buying now is buying at the final "high" of the market. It makes no sense.

Particularly because this deal is already just warm.

No, it just makes no sense to buy an x360 now. Wii U is out this year, next XBox generation is out within a year. Why buy a console at the end of its lifecycle? It's over.

Console launched back in 2005. This is just too old of a platform to justify going in now.

This isn't about "fanboyism" this is about getting a good deal. And the good deal will come as soon as Wii U is released and then intensify with the launch of the next XBox.

These are no longer far off or speculative events. They are very proximate.

Buying a 360 makes no sense unless you are really invested in the ecosystem.

Even then, it's not a "good deal" but is instead a purchase made because of specific need for one.

Being that the next gen will come out next year I think that the 250's may go as low as $175-199, me personally I'm going to hold out till next year and buy the bundle with the next gen Kinect

According to Microsoft the Xbox 360 is only halfway through its life cycle right now thanks to the Kinect. The 360 will continue until ~2015.
