It's pretty slow compared to other drives that have been on sale for this price recently. Hell, last week there was a Kingston Hyper X 3k for $65 AR that is much faster than this drive. I'd hold out for something else.

I also have anecdotal evidence: I used to own the 64Gb version of this drive and it failed after a few months, Kingston sent me the v200+ for my troubles.

eh, only if you need 7mm, otherwise similar deals to be had on better drives.
(OR if you really need the inexpensive extras... couple bucks for bracket, couple bucks for sata power adapter, 10 bucks for 2.5 usb enclosure... adds up.)

bad reviews. spend the 80-90 and get a m4 or 830

i have this drive and so far it has been fine (2 months). for 7mm this is a good deal, normally $15 more w/o the extras.

I ordered the drive only a few weeks ago using the $25off coupon and price matching to Amazon for $75. Cancelled the order as shipping was taking to long and Staples didn't know when it would be back in stock. Pulled the trigger last night for the posted price and chatted with a rep today to have the coupon for the past order reapplied. Total came to $53.50 after taxes. I think its a great deal. Drive has a 3 year warranty.

Might not be as fast as others but I think it will work just fine for myself. I bought the Hyperx 3k too for $78.4 but I really need a 7mm one not a 9mm one.

not the fastest out there. this is an older generation drive not to TC but:
V+200 has been at this pricepoint @Amazon faster, Async NAND, avail in 7mm
HyperX too, faster SYNC NAND, better than V+200 but 9.5mm only

V+200 again in 7mm might be better for you
