How is it on toner, and how expensive have you found refills to be? I'm looking for a laser as I'm an MBA student and am printing off 100-200 pages weekly for school. I was looking for just a B&W printer, but I'm willing to pay extra for color. Might have to pull the trigger!

I agree, however I needed a duplex scanner as well - this will serve both purposes. I just pulled the trigger on one. For $300, I'll give it a shot. My concern is the toner life and replacement expense. Don't forget about 5% cashback through shop discover. Total cost $285 shipped with no tax. Hot deal!! Thanks and repped, OP.

NOTE: I have a 5 yr old Okidata C5200 color laser at home that does 16ppm color and 24ppm black and the aftermarket 5K yield toner cartridges are $115 for ALL 4. The introductory cartridges lasted over 2K pages Big Grin

Does that mean that all 3 colors and black are in one cartridge, and if any one color runs out (say blue) you need to throw out the whole cartridge waisting the left over toner of the other colors? Man, I wish this thing did legal size scanning. Hard to find. Or can someone suggest an app to connect up scanned images?

it just means you can use a web browser and connect to and administer the settings on the printer remotely: view status on the printer, how much toner is left, set network settings, etc.

this is not a color photo printer. this printer is more meant for a small/home office and/or high volume printing: printing lots of presentations for school or for work, etc. if you only casually print and/or need something for photos, don't get this.

My kids wake me up in the night when the computer is locked and they need to print, this does work like it can print from USB. I have MF Laser and Color Laser both but they are not wired/wireless or duplex or multipage scanning.
