Not a bad deal for an i3 2350, 320GB hard drive, 4GB ram, pretty standard. The only thing I'm not sure of is if it has HDMI.

There have been new laptops with these sort of specs though for $300 plus tax, which would likely come out to be a bit more, but overall they aren't scratch and dent refurbs.

It's $320+tax rather than $287+tax if you want it new. Still not a terrible price I suppose, but not mind blowing either. If a 30% off code came out, then it'd be a killer deal.

i mean my needs are pretty much limited to a lightweight, fast, internet machine. i know its technically not an ultrabook, but 4lbs is pretty light. i finished grad school so i won't use it for much besides browsing SDs on the couch in front of the tv.. and maybe some casual photoshop when i'm bored. i'm not sure if people are ripping on these because they suck, or bc they want something super powerful that meets the technical ultrabook specs. and to be realistic, those just aren't my (or a lot of people's) needs.
