Not a bad price if you want one new, but I managed to get a like new Warehouse Deals model w/ 14mm pancake for $275 not too long ago. The 14-42 kit is typically even cheaper used/refurb.

Earlier in the year this was in many deals - Target with $75 gift card on $400 price etc. Thought of buying but finally settled on Nikon d5100.

Just looking for the lens.
Anyone know where I can get just the lens, or is anyone interested in selling the lens. I already own the camera purchased it 2 months ago from Amazon Wharehouse for 285 but it came with the pancake lens. I am currently in search of a zoom lens for this camera any recommendations.

Thoughts on this vs. the ZS20? I have an older Sony camera that has a scratch on the lens that I'd like to replace (Point and Shoot) and portability/size is definitely a factor. But so is picture quality. Seems both this and the ZS20 get good reviews and the price difference is fairly small.
Not entirely clear if this would fit either the P&S need or the DSLR need - and end up as just a middle of the road thing for both (i.e., has us buying another camera for one or the other uses). |
