I wish I had the dough to buy this set... I've been wanting to build a home server for months now, and this would be perfect. They say you should have "1GB of memory for each 1TB of storage" this would be great for a 6x3TB zfs setup

Try these. [newegg.com] Same series, same speed, 8 GB sticks, 9-9-9 timing. I'm rocking 16 GB and will likely pick up two more packs for the new Imaris build. Paid ~$85 for 16 GB a few weeks ago, so there's certainly a premium paid for those beautiful nines... |

Would totally be in for this for 40GB of ram on my rig... But I don't want to mix match with my 4gb g.skill with diff timings.
