Anyone know what stores will sell the wii u at their store on release day?

I am wondering if keeping my 4 Wii U preorders is actually worth it? I hope this launch is popular and I can make a bit of $$ for my troubles. I am debating cancelling though.

Why would you cancel now? If you cancel and the system is a hot item, you're SOL. No harm in holding the preorders because you can just cancel AFTER the system comes out.

i know best buy in my city said they get a shipment for launch and they are saving the rest for black friday so two chances to get it at mine. i got 2 deluxe wii u pre ordered though

The launch is Sun 11-18 then black friday is 5 days later.. how many shipments do they think they will get those next 4 days? On previous game systems.. it took weeks between shipments just after launch.

Let not forget Japan then Europe has their launch after US.. so after the mid Nov shipments here.. Nintendo will start sending most units to the next launch countries. I would bet very little comes to US till mid Dec.

Can't wait to get my fingers on the Wii U!

Just love the intuitive possibilities / potential of different kind of gameplay that it will offer.

With all the preorders BB did at the store.. I wonder if they will even have 10 units (not already spoken for) to sell at launch.

Plus saving units for BF makes no sense. BB will have enough foot traffic that day. I remember on the XBOX 360.. that TRU kept all their dec shipments so they could have a mini launch about a week before Christmas. As opposed to BB who were getting in like 10-12 xbox's every week and putting them out on shelf as it came off the truck.

Just got back from Walmart where I ordered 2 on Layaway without any problems whatsoever. No payment schedule to commit to which is good, but you must make layaway payments in store, not online. Mya wallyworld is only 5min from work but I'll prob just go in on 11/18 and pay off the balance in full. Layaway ends 12/14.

Does is anybody see this as being a Hot x-mas item?? I have not seen or heard much about it..Just asking in case I should try and get one or two So I can have a better xmas for Me..lol

A new game system? Yes it will be hot. If not easy to return though.
