companies love people like you. you just take their abuse and don't even see it for the stolen time (on your part) that it is.

let me ask you, if this behavior is tolerable to you and you will continue to do business with such companies, how much are you willing to take? is this an issue of numbers, to you? to me, its not. any amount is too much when I didn't sign up for it.

if you got 10 emails a week? 50? 100? at what point would you finally admit this behavior is not acceptable for companies?

I do think this is a valid discussion to have; and this is a company that deserves to have it in their name.

lets see, it takes a few minutes for me to add a filter for this company. of course, that assumes they'll even respect the from-addr part and keep that the same. often, new addr's spring up and even changed-spelling domain names. once you are on a list, they abhor taking you off. and this costs you time.

say its 1 minute. in fact, to navigate thru gmail, get the message, start the filter process, verify it and apply it is more than 1 minute but lets say its just 1 minute. now, how many purchases do you make, from different vendors? suppose they all jump on this and say 'hey, that company gets to do this, why can't I?'.

in computers, we call this a 'problem of scaling' and it means that it gets out of control as the group size gets larger. its 1 minute to filter this guy. another minute to filter that. not to mention filter maintenance, over time.

WHY SHOULD WE, AS CUSTOMERS, HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS?

why do you assume its part of the customer's assumed job to weed out the spam that comes from rogue companies who think that rules don't apply to them?

again, if everyone felt it was ok to send you spam even when you said you didn't want it, how would you be able to manage the real emails in all that noise?

Not an amazing deal, off brand versions were much cheaper a year or two ago. I think I paid $11 or $12 for chinese ones off ebay. Getting 216 balls not 125.

I know people say the off brand ones aren't as strong or are not as good, but the ones I have never seemed to give me any trouble, I think it's all just superstition to buy a brand name for more than double the price.

What are you going to do with these magnets?

think these will be ok for kids like 3rd grade or higher? my nieces like making thing with arts adn crafts figure they may have fun with these.

Bucky balls are cool. I like to fidget with them in my hands as I'm reading stuff online. I tried some other brands and bucky seemed to be a bit stronger. Otherwise they're totally useless fidget toys. Probably wont bite because of shipping.

Magnets that size must be VERY strong.

I could see a broken finger from them possibly slamming together. Or worse, shattered magnet.
