It is ridiculous that it's still happening. Searching a little reveals that this latest round of hacking seems to have started sometime in August, though there are similar occurrences back in June.
Really, Walmart?! Sheesh. They need to admit there's a problem and fix it! Not so much for me; I'll not be re-opening my account. There are still a lot of people that aren't aware of this. pay no attention to the words below the line...

so i just checked my account. i couldnt remember my password so i reset it and sure enough i got another email saying the password had just been reset. nothing in the order history that i didnt order. then i checked the forms of payment and there were no CC listed because i use paypal whenever possible.

Thanks for the heads up. I logged into my WM account and didn't see any "extra" orders. I deleted my card information on there as well.

Those who've been hacked should report this to their state Attorney General. In NYS there's a law called the New York State Information Security Breach and Notification Act, which makes it illegal for Wal-Mart not to notify their customers if a security breach has occured. I don't know about anyone else, but Wal-Mart never contacted me, never returned my emails or calls regarding this.

They got me too. Got the notice that my email had been changed and then 2 order confirmations for a total of $160 in game cards. ..geez scumbags hackers! Walmart removed the charges and I removed my saved credit card info.

They got me too. Two $40 charges and a $20 charge for game cards. I don't see anything on my Amex account yet. Walmart sent me a cancelation on one charge already from yesterday but didn't respond to my inquiries. I had some issues with my Yahoo email as well which my Walmart account was linked to. I'm not sure if it's related as the passwords were completely different, but I changed them just to be safe.

My account got hacked too. Two orders for two game cards each. One got cancelled and one went thru.Searched the internet and this keeps happening from August. What did Walmart do?

Doesn't the "?" make that a "strong" password? It has upper and lower case, and a special character.
