I'm not on my FOURTH RMA for the same MK Silencer from a combo deal back in July. Every one I test is setting off low voltage alarms. 3.3V rail getting 2.1V or 12V getting 10.9V. I'm not entirely confident the 5th PSU I'll receive will be in full working order...

Wow.. actually more than wow, because if it indeed generates 2.1V on 3.3V and 10.9V on 12V, your whole set up won't even turn on, or if worse the parts may be instantaneously dead upon power up. Especially 12V-sensitive parts like HDD or GPU would not even start with such low voltage. I just can't believe PP&C, once known as one of the top-tier PSU brands (despite it's now a part of OCZ), and Seasonic (True manufacturer of the PSU) would make such crappy PSU. Are you sure your mobo reads the voltage correctly?

I must be missing something...been looking at PSU's lately, and they all say SLI/XFIRE ready, etc. but most of them only have 2 x 6+2-Pin PCI-Express Connectors...how're you going to power more than 1 GPU with that?

Using two cards with only one pci-e connector required on each.

I test all PSUs with a PSU tester before putting them in a rig. Some of them I buy for spares or future builds so I test them right away to avoid having to deal with the manufacturer if I could just exchange it with Newegg. Only 1/4 of them had a 500ms delay, the rest were almost exactly 300ms (as specs advertise).

FWIW, the other PSUs I purchased (Thermaltake V2, Corsair Builder's, Antec Green) all tested spot on and run flawlessly.

I see. That's very interesting result because, as I said, with such low voltage, the system won't even boot up properly. And I am pretty sure talks about that will be all over the web. Guess Seasonic nowadays has QC issue.
